I’m Susheel C, a neutral Indian-English voice over artist, and my home studio is here in Chennai. I record medical and healthcare narration, automotive and manufacturing films, IT and corporate videos, and eLearning for Chennai teams. Chennai is home, so this isn’t a city added to a list for search rankings. I grew up here, studied here, and record here. How Remote Recording Works for a Chennai Team

  1. Briefing. Send the script, the audience, the read you’re after, and how the audio will be used.
  2. Free audition. I record a short excerpt of your actual script, so you can hear the read before you commit.
  3. Live direction, if you want it. I’m happy to run a directed session over Zoom or Google Meet, and Source-Connect is available on request, with advance notice. It’s booked as scheduled time and priced accordingly; most projects are recorded from the brief.
  4. Delivery and revisions. Broadcast-grade 24-bit WAV, split and named to your spec, through Dropbox, WeTransfer, Google Drive, or OneDrive. One revision for a change of direction is built in, and anything I get wrong is fixed free.

My working hours are Monday to Saturday, 09:00-18:00 IST. The voice over FAQs and service terms cover payment, delivery, and licensing.

Who You’re Hiring in Chennai

I grew up in an English-speaking household in Chennai and studied Visual Communication at Loyola College. I spent years in graphic design and advertising and still run a video production house, so I read a script with an eye on the visuals it sits under. I started voice over in earnest in late 2019, and my Chennai home studio has since delivered work for clients in more than 20 countries. I speak Tamil and Hindi conversationally, but I record in English only. More on the about page.

Frequently asked questions

Do you record in Tamil?
No. I speak Tamil, but I record voice overs in English only, in a neutral Indian-English accent. If your project needs a Tamil version, you will want a native Tamil voice artist for that track.
Can we come to your studio for the recording?
No. All my recording is remote, for Chennai clients as much as for anyone else. You send the script, I record and deliver from my home studio, and if you want to direct the read, we do it over Zoom or Google Meet.
How is a Chennai project priced?
The same way as anywhere else. Shorter pieces are priced by the total word count, and comprehensive work, such as a full course, by the finished hour of audio. Usage matters too: an internal safety module and a paid advertisement are different products, so tell me how the recording will be used.
Can you handle medical and engineering terminology?
Yes. Send the terms you are unsure about with the script and I will confirm pronunciations before recording. You own the technical accuracy of the copy; I make sure it is read correctly and consistently.
