What languages do you offer voiceovers in? +
My primary focus is Indian English voice-overs, making best use of my neutral Indian-English accent — also described as an International English accent. I currently do not offer voice overs in other Indian languages.
What is your typical turnaround time? +
I aim to deliver most projects within 24 to 48 hours on working days, though this can vary with script length and workload. I've turned urgent jobs around in under an hour — so please reach out first and mention your deadline clearly.
Do you have your own studio setup? +
Yes. My home studio is acoustically treated for low reverberation and external noise. It runs an Audio-Technica AT4040 into a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (3rd gen), recording in Adobe Audition '23 with mastering plugins for a high-quality WAV.
Where are you from? +
I'm Indian, and I've lived and worked out of Chennai for most of my life. Most call it hot and hard to get used to — I love it here.
Can you work with clients outside of Chennai? +
Absolutely. My home studio lets me work remotely and deliver worldwide. I've worked with clients across Indian cities and in New York, London, San Francisco and Prague. An Indian voice over artist — for the world.
What are your rates for voice over projects? +
Rates vary with the project's scope and complexity. With a premium home-studio setup I can assure broadcast-quality output. Once you've heard my samples, reach out to discuss your budget and we'll work out something reasonable.
How are your voice-over files delivered? +
You can download finished files via Dropbox, WeTransfer, Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive. I usually avoid email attachments to dodge full-inbox and spam issues.
What are your payment terms? +
As is typical for VO artists, I take a 50% advance before starting and the remaining 50% before delivery. Payment by bank transfer, UPI or cash. For first-time clients, 100% upfront is required without exception.
Do you offer retakes and revisions? +
Any errors on my part are fixed at no extra charge. Corrections or script changes from the client or agency may be chargeable as extra.
Can you do remote directed sessions? +
Yes, I'm happy to do directed sessions via Zoom, Skype or Google Meet. Just mention this when you get in touch and we'll schedule a time that works across time zones.
What file format will I receive? +
Standard delivery is a 24-bit WAV at 48 kHz (or 44.1 kHz). If you need MP3, a specific loudness target (e.g., -16 LUFS for podcasts), or any other spec, just mention it with your order.
Do you provide free auditions? +
Yes — I offer a free audition of your actual script (a short excerpt) before you commit. Just send me the script and I'll record a sample so you can hear exactly how it will sound.
